Jamie Crick presents the Jazz FM Breakfast weekdays from 6.30am. Jamie brings you 'Jazz FM’s Greatest' with 40 minutes of un-interrupted pure Jazz FM greats – legendary artists and legendary standards alongside some of the future greats.
Growing up in a jazz mad household it’s not surprising Jamie Crick likes music, everything from jazz to classical with soul, rock and thrown in for good measure. As Jamie puts it “my dad was mad for jazz but I wanted to listen to all sorts of music, forever tuning around the dial trying to discover different radio stations”.
Jamie has presented concerts across the UK at stately homes, the Royal Albert Hall and an attempt to create the world’s largest orchestra where the trumpets took up the entire dress circle.
He has broadcast on Classic FM, BBC Radio and commercial local radio in a varied career that started working with Jazz FM’s Mark Walker on a local radio station in Surrey.
