Gregory Porter's saxophonist Yosuke Sato has announced he has left the band to pursue his own music projects.
Telling friends on his Facebook page he writes, "Hello my Facebook friends, I have been working as a member of US singer Gregory Porter's tour band for these 4 years, and now I am concentrating on my own music project so you might not see my appearances on his tours as of today. Thank you very much for your support and hope you could give amazing G. Porter and his fabulous band even more love than you have done. And if you could listen to music of mine when it's put on air, I would be so happy, I'll try harder to play better music. Take care, Yosuke."
This reflects the winding down of Grammy Award-winning Porter's extensive 'Liquid Spirit' tour and build-up to the new year, new band line-up, new album and tour. Sato is now busy working on projects in the U.S and Japan.
