Jazz FM has increased its weekly audience, for the third survey in succession, to 553,000. Total listening hours are also up by 5% (at 2,282,000) with the audience continuing to grow amongst a younger demographic. 78% of listeners now are aged 15-54, delivering a record 81% of all Jazz FM’s adult listening hours.
Jazz FM now reaches a remarkable third of its audience through internet and mobile listening. CEO Jonathan Arendt said “Jazz FM continues to prove its appeal to listeners right across the UK. We expect both our listener base and loyalty to continue to grow, particularly given the introduction of a raft of new programmes led by Lynn Parsons’ Jazz Breakfast.”
