Neil Cowley to play a tribute to Dudley Moore

Dudley Moore

Pianist Neil Cowley is to present a tribute to musician, comedian and film star Dudley Moore on the 80th anniversary of his birthday at Ronnie Scott’s.

Pianist Neil Cowley is to lead a tribute to British musician, comedian and film star Dudley Moore on the 80th anniversary of his birthday on April 24th and 25th at London’s Ronnie Scott’s.

Dudley Moore was a renowned comedian, famously with comedy partner Peter Cooke, but he was also a brilliant pianist. For Moore it was music first, then comedy. April is also the 50th anniversary of Dudley’s most significant record ‘The Other Side of Dudley Moore’ which showed the world what a great jazz pianist he was.

Cowley has assembled a special trio for the dates and will capture the spirit of Dudley Moore through his covers, originals and comedy numbers with chat, anecdotes and some special surprises.  Like Dudley Moore, Cowley is renowned for his quirky sense of humour during his shows and is planning a heartfelt tribute.
