London’s free one-day jazz festival includes Omar and Sons of Kemet
London’s free JAZZ RE:FEST event, now in its 5th year, will be returning to the Clore Ballroom public space at the Royal Festival Hall on the Southbank for a day of world-class jazz and soul music on Sunday 6th August.
The annual one-day festival, celebrates jazz and jazz-inspired-music and culture, showcasing the incredibly diverse, colourful, expressive and creative art forms.
JAZZ RE:FEST, produced by JAZZ RE:FRESHED, will feature over 60 musicians, artists & DJ’s, and live performances this year including the explosive Sons of Kemet (led by Jazz FM Award winning Shabaka Hutchings), soul royalty in the form of Omar, and up-and-coming female saxophonist and composer Nubya Garcia.
Organisers have also teamed up with United80, who will have music, clothes and merchandise for sale.
