April is Jazz Appreciation Month. Tori Freestone Trio plays London's Kings Place on Saturday April 11th.
British saxophonist Tori Feestone and her trio play London’s King’s Place on Saturday April 11th.
Tori has been a leading light in improvised music as band member and leader. Her latest recording ‘In The Chop House’ was named after a musicians’ favourite spot in Manchester and was released on the prolific Whirlwind Recordings in 2014. It sees her lead a trio that by it’s very nature with saxophone, bass and drums, affords her space and freedom to explore her own repertoire openly and inventively.
Freestone is joined by Dave Manington on bass and Tim Giles on drums who make up the same regular trio that made the record.
