Win tickets to the Steinway Festival 2015 @ Pizza Express Jazz Club

The annual Steinway Festival at Pizza Express Jazz Club in London’s Soho provides you with the unique opportunity to see piano duets on one of the finest instruments in the world – as the Pizza Express Jazz Club on Dean Street temporarily installs a second Steinway grand. You can win a pair of tickets to the final night of the festival on the 8th March. Great music on the night comes from Gwilym Simcock and Iiro Rantala plus you'll be treated to a 3 course meal and a glass of bubbly.

25 years of Jazz FM

It all started with a letter from our founder David Lee to the IBA (Independent Broadcasting Authority): "Dear Sir, I hereby apply for a licence to open a jazz radio station in London. 10 years later on Sunday 4th March 1990 - Jazz FM launched with the track 'Early in the Morning' by Joe Williams. 25 years on… and we are still playing ‘jazz of some kind at any hour of the day or night.’

Average White Band join Nigel Williams

This Saturday from 10am, Alan Gorrie, founder member of the Average White Band joins Nigel Williams. In an exclusive chat, Gorrie revealed the band's plans for a new EP, along with a spring UK tour.There will also be live music from Hackney Colliery Band - who will give us a taste of their set at Love Supreme 2015.

Jazz Travels heads to the Caribbean

This Friday at 6pm, let Sarah Ward transport you with Jazz Travels - she sets off for the Caribbean with adventurous TV travel presenter Simon Reeve who shares his tales of exploration around the world including stories of his time recently filming in the Caribbean recently.

Al Jarreau on the Ronnie Scott's Radio Show

This Saturday night from 6pm on the Ronnie Scott’s Radio Show, Ian Shaw welcomes the completely unique and incomparable Al Jarreau. Plus, there’s live music from the vaults too - Zoot Sims recorded live at the club in 1961.
