Rosie was born with straight hair, but it became curly by the time she was walking. Her first ever prize was winning 'Holiday Princess' aged 8 (it was the curtsey, not the curls or buck teeth), then there were the prizes for knitting and the letter from Sarah Ferguson in response to a letter from Rosie informing her that her silk wedding dress was going to murder thousands of silk worms, and maybe she should rethink her choice of material.
It was obvious from the start that Rosie was going to work in radio. Partly because of the above, but also due to her love of a good tune - family legend has it that Rosie could whistle before she could talk, but anyone that has witnessed how much she natters knows that can't possibly be true. |
